FAQ's
Q: How long will it take for you to finish my garments?
A: It takes 5 WORKING DAYS on average depending on the design. If you just have some text along the front then this can been done in around 2 working days. If you want something done faster then please call us and we will see what we can do for you.
Q: What would you reccomend as care instructions for my garments?
A: Ideally you need to wash your garments on a 40 degree wash, iron inside out and DO NOT tumble dry. The print on these garments is applied with 160 degree heat so when reheated to this sort of temperature then it will crack, and peel off. If you follow these instructions you will not have a problem with the print at all, this will not crack, fade, or peel.
Q: How can I send you my Images?
A: Email is the preferred method to sales@lionheartprint.com. If you are ordering online, there is an image upload button this design programme can only accept JPEG & PNG files. 300dpi / 1000px X 1000px is ideal for non vector files, but please try to keep e-mailed or uploaded image files under 8mb.
Generally, the higher the resolution or dpi of the image the easier it will print.
If you are unable to provide the image required by lionheartprint.com, please contact us or alternatively we operate our own design service that may be used if necessary.
Q: I don't have any ideas for my logo, what can I do?
A: Please give us a call on 0115 875 2453 or contact us using our contact form. We have hundreds of stock images which may help you, or we may be able to adapt or originate a new image based on your ideas.
Q: Can I use Disney, Simpsons, Warner Bros etc characters in my design?
A: No. We always refuse to infringe copyrighted and trademarked works. It is illegal and can result in heavy legal fees. Be original or please ask us for ideas.
Q: What resolution image do you require for different personalisations?
A: Low Resolution image: Is usually fine for embroidery designs (72 dpi) unless the design is very detailed or elaborate. A business card will do for some logos but detailed logos will need to be better resolution.
High Resolution image: High Resolution image may be required for printing with a minimum of 300 dpi around 1000px X 1000px, the higher the resolution or dpi of the image the easier it is to work from, especially images with fine details.is
Q: If I upload my image into the customise design system and it shows a background box around the image, will this print onto my finished product?
A: This can be edited for you, so if you let us know whether the background is meant to be there or not in the comments box, then we can either print this or take this away. We will always aim to edit any images that are uploaded to ensure maximum print quality. The comments box can be found at the end of the payment process so you can inform us if there are any changes you wish to make to your garment(s).
Q: Is there a maximum print area on garments?
A: Yes. The maximum print area on an adults tshirt is approximately 35cm wide dependent on the size of the garment. On childrens the maximum print area is approximately 20cm wide. The height is in proportion to the width
Q: How long does it take to print my garments?
A: Please allow at least 5 working days for us to print and dispatch your garments, we will notify you in a step by step process by email as to what stage your garments are at.
